LifeFlight Australia is a world leader in aeromedical care with a core purpose to save lives and serve the community. Operating with an advanced fleet of LifeFlight rescue helicopters and Air Ambulance jets, this vital rescue service provides the people of Queensland with the assurance that emergency medical care is available 24/7, 365 days a year, no matter where you live.
We were delighted to work with LifeFlight on a motif artwork for its Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). The artwork, ‘Journey Lines of Connection’ by David Williams, was created to represent the combination of innovation and culture, and was informed by legendary Ngarrindjeri inventor and writer David Unaipon’s vision of boomerang-inspired, helicopter-like flying machines from over a century ago.
The artwork will also be featured on a range of aircraft, with the first of seven new AW139 helicopters for LifeFlight’s growing fleet touching down in Toowoomba in December 2024, as the aeromedical organisation expands to meet soaring demand.
