Gathering Strands was a multi-layered fibre art exhibition curated by Freja Carmichael and held at the Redland Art Gallery in June of 2016. The exhibition showcased the vitality of Indigenous fibre work and brought together weavers, artists and community from across South East Queensland.
The Gathering Strands exhibition catalogue design and layout saw the production of an exquisitely printed partnering book to this tremendously successful exhibition. The design and layout elegantly shines a light on the woven pieces, inviting the reader into the stories of these woven structures.
