In late-2022, Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) in Queensland was seeking to develop a cultural artwork to be embedded across its organisation to better represent and connect with the communities in which it operates and has unique relationships with.
Gilimbaa worked with the RFDS team to workshop a creative narrative and develop a brand-new bespoke artwork ‘Our Journey is Shared, Our Spirit is Strong’ by David Williams as the result. Usage of the artwork has so far included on the organisation’s dental service vehicle (a fully equipped mobile dental surgery featuring state-of-the-art equipment, including an OPG machine), with future uses being planned for its ‘Towards 100’ strategy and so much more.
